Hey Guys and Girls,

I have an R33 GTS25T Skyline and am looking at putting a stereo in it for both SQ and SPL i have about half this gear from out of my old car already and only need the amps.

Head Unit - Pioneer AVH-P7650DVD (already own)
Speakers - DDW6.5 x 4 (already own)
Tweeters - DDT1 x 4 (was running USD horns)
Amps - DD Z1 for subs (Had 4 DD M1's)
- DD C4 x 2 for front and rear speakers (Had Boston GT28 and GT42)
Subs - DD 3512d new series x 2 in ported box (already own)

I was hoping with the DD C4's i could run the front and rear active im just worried i wont have enough power for the DDW6.5's.

The standard battery in the boot is TINY so i think ill need to replace it with a Optima and also have a 2nd Deep Cycle on in the boot as well :S id like to keep the speakers in pretty much there factory locations dont know how possible this will be with the huge magnets on the DDW6.5's but i really want to keep them as they are awesome and possibly go with either a fiberglassed subbox into the tyrewell or have the amps mounted in the floor with a box firing towards the back of the boot. my big problem is having no space at all.. even putting the DD C4's under the seats isnt an option as the hideaway box for the pioneer is there.

Let me know with any ideas u might have! thanks people

with some luck my good mate DD Phil "pats him on the back" will give me a hand :P but then again... my 5L VR Calais had the following in the boot...

70L LPG Gas tank in the back of the boot
3 Delkor DC31 Deep Cycle batteries
a 13CU Fiberglassed mini wall box
4 Digital Design M1 amps
1 Boston GT28
1 Boston GT42
1 Active Crossover Network
2 x DD 3512's and before that 2 x DD 9515's..

as well as an absolute CRAPLOAD of 8GUA and 4GUA power wiring, speaker wiring, RCA cables and neon transformer leads going absolutley everwhere.

lol that was NOT FUN

Andy Jones, IASCA Street X SQL is code for "I half ass everything." Basically you are saying you are not loud enough to do SPL, and have no idea what it takes to do Sound Quality. So you meet in the middle with a quiet system that sounds like ass. Good job at being mediocre.

ditch the DD subs. i still havent heard one in an SQ setup i have liked.
Phill has boston, go some G5's.
QUOTE (RMA @ Feb 6 2010, 01:22 AM) My only regrets are:
Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.
