Heya,
Just wondering if anyone has any opinions/comments on these subs...
I'm looking at possibly getting oen but wondering how they compare to say IDMAX, IDQ, Type-X, and similar subs....
I understand not many people have heard them, but those who have please leave your comments here!

Cheers.

QUOTE (RMA @ Feb 6 2010, 01:22 AM) My only regrets are:
Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.

They seem to be held in high regard going off what the Americans say on their boards, and it seems to have lasted longer than the usual passing brand fad which afflicts all forums.

Wouldn't mind having a listen myself

Andy Jones, IASCA Street X SQL is code for "I half ass everything." Basically you are saying you are not loud enough to do SPL, and have no idea what it takes to do Sound Quality. So you meet in the middle with a quiet system that sounds like ass. Good job at being mediocre.

I am going to put 4 Oz Me 12.2 in my car to replace my ID's once $ are sorted out. My box is 4 cu/ft sealed so it should work well as this is what Oz Audio recommend in their manual. Going to run them off my DD Z1 at 1 ohm.

25mm excursion and 700wrms power handling for under $500 in a 12". Sounds good to me :)

These woofers are unreal. I built a box for the fussiest prick possible and he loves his Matrix 12". He has bought countless numbers of subs to no avail but when i sold him the Matrix he fell in love with it instantly :).

2.1 cubic foot tuned to 30HZ baby does it sound good.

And the guy will know who i am talking about :).

Will be going in an 18ltr sealed box till I can find the time to build another. Probably just be a bigger sealed box, but undecided.

WOW, it's quite amazing, I have had involvement with all those products in the images.

The last of the orginal PPI amps, i was the technical, service manager and installer for Custom Car Sound when they where the distributors.

The VDO enclosure (that I designed) and sub was a product my company Qualifit use to manufacture a few years ago.

The Oz Audio Matrix 12, Egear imports the brand.

Hah yeah, I realised the box was made by qualifit when I dacronned it the other day :) (Qualifit on the speaker cable)...

First impressions of the sub (in a .9cu.ft box) are very nice.
Goes a lot nicer then the vdo, tighter, lower, clearer...
Also is about 100000000000 times nicer then Icemans Eclipse TI in the same enclosure :P
