we need more details...budget (speakers and installation), what car do u have (determines what size speaker we can recommend), what music do u listen to, will they run off an amp/do u need to buy an amp for them too, or will they just be off the headunit, do u already have a sub, or perhaps u might need one too.

I like Dyns too. I got them in 2002 and have gone through many installs and components upgrade. But my Dyns is the only left unchanged. It just gets better and better with my upgrades.

So far I've liked Rockford, Focal and Eclipse the most, bostom and soundstream were too harsh and trebly for me.
I found the Alpines distorted at reasonably low volumes for some reason and didn't have impressive midbass.

Entering an SQ comp is about spending countless hours working to pay for a great sub, only to be told you need to spend countless hours tuning so you can sound like you don't have a sub at all.

If I were pwersonally looking for a set of splits, my personal brands of recommendation would be:
*Rainbow
*Dynaudio
*Phass
*Morel
*Lotus
*Oz Audio

If the budget is 2k and over then i'd toss Hertz and Focal into the equation, as their Mille and Be ranges respectively are supposedly very nice, however their lower end sets are not really my style.

Of the ones i've heard, Dynaudio probably impressed me the most.. but it's hard to say because Rainbow are also mighty impressive. I can't seperate the two without a good back to back audition.

Come on stazed, typing the address, clicking on the search bar, typing "dynaudio" and then hitting enter ... that's a lot of work!
