Hey guys, I went to Precision Installations yesterday and listened to some subs. They had a sub in their board that blew my mind. Originally the guy quoted me $299 for it, in which case I was going to take it .... that is until he realised he got the model number wrong and it was actually $999.
It was the top of the line Eclipse 12" and man did it rock. Amazing clarity, super fast/tight response, booming sound all at the same time. And they were seriously underpowering it. If I could afford it, I'd get this sub hands down. I was blown away by how nice it sounded.
I also had the pleasure of listening to Eclipse's 6" 2 Way splits, which were also very very nice.
I must say, I was tickled pink with the quality of Eclipse's speakers based on what I heard yesterday.
I guess there isnt really a lot to say in response to this thread. I just wanted to share my joy at hearing my first SQ sub :P

Cheers, Blake

Entering an SQ comp is about spending countless hours working to pay for a great sub, only to be told you need to spend countless hours tuning so you can sound like you don't have a sub at all.

Thats what the sister has, she'll be competing soon anyway so she can just show you. It is a nice sub none-the-less.
