Hi peoples Im doing the setup in my 205 Sportivo Corolla

Source unit is IVA-310E with PXA-H700

Ive settled on a pair of Dynaudio 340 3 ways for the front stage in sound deadened doors powered by an Alpine MRV-F545 Amp

I am wondering what single 12" Driver will go well with this setup I was contemplating a 12" X Type with 2 x MRD-M1005 amps powering it in a sealed enclosure? This will be around 2000WRMS

I am going for more SQ then outright bass as I like to listen to my music loud but non fatiguing??

Any ideas or what do u have?

Few suggestions but I'm sure that there will be heaps of others;

Boston G5
Diamond audio TDX12
DD3512
Image dynamics IDMAX12v4
Focal
RE XXX (if they come back into the country)
Oz Audio Matrix Elite
Treo SSi/SSX series
Vide Space series

But there are literally dozens out there to chose from. If you can go to a SQ meet and listen to a whole heap and get an idea of what you want from it. Also one MRD-1005 should be more than adequate.

if you're going for SQ then you don't really need 2kWRMS just get the one amp and spend the extra on the sub, or get a better amp

I agree, SQ is about BLENDING the sound together seemlessly, not having a sub so loud its like being hit with a hammer every time you crank your system ;) Spend the money on the sub, you don't need that much power mate.

~*~ System installed by Precision Car Audio Engineering ~*~
Alpine - Rainbow - JL Audio
Entering an SQ comp is about spending countless hours working to pay for a great sub, only to be told you need to spend countless hours tuning so you can sound like you don't have a sub at all.
