Advice on Splits guys

I have a 2000 Model VT commodore, which i removed the Alpine Type R 6x9s from the rear, after some advice from a SQ point of view saying rear speakers are a no go esp 6x9s, and i am left with FOCAL Access 165a Splits up front, with 2x MTX Thunder 8000s in the boot off a Kicker 1200.1
The focal splits are off an Alpine V power Amp running 2 channel Mode at 100wrms x 2
Now my question to you is, i got some spare door trims ready to be trimmed in cream leather, before i do this i was thinking of building pods to house my 165a's along with my Alpine type R 6x9s i took from the back in the doors, with the tweeters on the 6x9s disconnected, this imho will be a good option for me coz i have never built a door up before but am good with FG and would like to have a go!
BUT if you honestly think this is a no go, i will sell the 6x9s and the Focals, knowing i wont get much more than $400 for it all, i have very little to spend on new splits, but what i want is this!
- Excellent bass, mid bass and kick
- Loud and clear
- Not bright and ear piercing (like my 165a's, metal music cant even be listened too without defening me of treble)
- Budget of about $700 MAX but essentially would like to spend about $500 or so
My situation for these, Pioneer DEH-P1Y, 6.5v Pre outs, in built eQ etc, into a alpine amp, Bridged, running 2x 100w RMS. Both doors are sound deadend on the inner skin only filling up all service holes. and there is plain chant mounted where the wooder normally sits
My other option was to look at a sub to do the job, looking at DD 8" woofer for example, and building that into the door, but powering these i need another amp, and a 3 way X-over so may still be expensive?
What can you recommend for me?

I listen primarily to heavy metal and these are my chosen set, that should tell you something

If you're wondering whats with the 'kick'. The rainbow woofers have been specially designed to deliver a sharp kick in the midbass, specifically the type of sound you get out of a kick drum. Can you say Fear Factory double kicks? After hearing a set of kicks in a car with sound deadening, believe me, you won't regret going Rainbow man.

Entering an SQ comp is about spending countless hours working to pay for a great sub, only to be told you need to spend countless hours tuning so you can sound like you don't have a sub at all.

DON’T DO IT!
You’ll be spending money hand over fist in a feeble attempt to realize the elusive dream of the ultimate sound system. Spending all your time in the shed and the car, you’ll grow a beard, have dark rings around your eyes and everyone will distance themselves from this dark figure they once knew and trusted
In the end you’ll find yourself at 55 years old on a pitiful income, sleeping in the back of your car on the outskirts of society with no house, no girlfriend, no savings, wishing you never took up car audio.
I hope that made you laugh!
Okay but seriously the first thing you have to decide is the most important constraint, is it the sound or the money? If you want speakers that have excellent bass, mid bass and kick that are loud and clear and not too bright, you need a lot more than $700.
I started off with a system that cost $350 and soon realized it wasn’t going to satisfy me and since then have spent about four thousand dollars. Some people spend like $30,000 on their car stereo.
Okay but you should be able to find a compromise somewhere in-between cheap and nasty and ridiculously expensive. The idea you have might be pretty good. Can you set the 6x9s up and try them in their “new” positions to see if you like it? You might try re-connecting the tweeter and do away with the Focals.
I can guarantee you will want to buy better speakers though and if you’re spending money on new door trims you don’t want to waste the effort stuffing around changing things later. In my opinion the front speakers are more important than other speakers. You already have subs don’t you? Get your front going good and then worry about better subs later.
The way I approached buying speakers was to look at the rms rating. It generally goes the higher the rms, the higher the output and the higher the price and the better everything gets. My choice was Focal K2Ps for $785. The tweeters are a bit harsh and they lack in mid-bass just a tad but if you want everything you have to pay more.
I have just bought the K3P woofer upgrade kit so now my mid bass will be excellent and I can live with the tweeters. I’m not getting rid of these Focals, they’re not going anywhere.
I highly recommend having a look at FHRX’s website and look at “What system can I get for XXXX dollars” I found it was a very helpful guide at deciding my budget level and finding out what goes with what.
Another thing put sound deadener on the outside skins of your doors. Use heaps of it, everywhere. I had a listen to another guys system with the same Focals as mine and the difference was amazing. One of the main factors was the amount of sound deadening he’s got.
It all costs money though of course but it’s better to get good gear that you won’t be disappointed with. I’ve wasted money on cheaper speakers and in the end spent more than I needed to so my last word is don’t rush into things, there's nothing worse than regret.
Have fun!

My interpretation is that BL35SU wants about the best you can get and also taking note that ‘metal music’ was mentioned, I would be wanting what Blakeyboy has recommended.
I’m sure the Alpines are excellent. I wouldn’t dispute that but I think you and I are both saying pretty much the same thing especially when you consider that I said:-
“I highly recommend having a look at FHRX’s website and look at “What system can I get for XXXX dollars” I found it was a very helpful guide at deciding my budget level and finding out what goes with what”
I found my budget level at Focal K2Ps but if I hadn’t wasted so much money on cheaper speakers I could have had what Blakeyboy has got. That’s the main thing I was trying to say. Look into it carefully and don’t waste money on something you’ll regret.
