I know what your thinking, there isn't such a thing.
If anyone is interested I can post some details of the speaker. A mate of mine is building a set of near-field monitors for his studio and found these puppies. They are on order and I will let you know how they sound. So far the reviews are wonderful. Image a 4" flat from 100 to 10K Small enclosure needed. Only 7 leters
I like it!
Post if you want to know more.
Cheers

If they genuinely have that frequency range I bet they aren't cheap.

I want to know more however! Might make some good computer speakers!

200hz to 2000hz would be sufficient for me, also interested in the dispersion technique utilised on these near field monitors.

Canadain assembly with frame and magent USA built.
Very cool looking driver guys. Yes 8 ohm but image 2 on a dash with a pair of ribbions.
How sweet would that be?

They are a little shonky off axis but if you can get them high EG top of the dash. WOW
They are a little funky with the impedance rise at 100 but that can be altered with enclosure size to some degree. Very cool little driver guys.
I think if your building a SQ winner, this little guy is sweat as. Coupled with a nice ribbion, how sweat!!!
I think if you can get this combination on the top of the dash with in 15% of axis listening you will have image and stage like..... well, bloody good.

{while scanning the docs I have here I was looking at the harmonic distortion graphs [to dark to scan] they have a bit around 500hz and 5K but depending if your gonna use them with a woofer or type of tweeter or combination of tweeters they still look sweat!}
I'll find out about Australian distribution and post where to get them.

I plan to model these driver for a while with LEAP. If anyone has a target design I'll be happy to help if I can.
Cheers

Yup, thats them!
Yup 8 ohm drivers but can you find anything in 4 Ohm with the same response? For SQ is a 3DB loss really that big a deal?

Is it just me or does 7 litres not sound like a "small" enclosure for in-car use?
