I'll start, i'm in Wynyard, on the North West Coast.
Drive a Nissan NX-R Coupe, SPL biased with a Digital Designs DD3512, soon to have a Z1, JBL GTO755.6 6 channel amp, 4 channels for 2 way active front stage (Jaycar splits for now) and 2 channels for rears.

I live in hobart and am up for anything. May not be in tasy in 2 months though.

Well at the moment I have a 97 civic with 18's and a kit in the garage. Treo 15 under my bed. Have been waiting on amps for the last 1.5 years and should be getting a m2 if they ever arrive. I was getting 2 9515's for my 9cuft box but decided not to bother spending as much cash on my car since there are stuff all comps every year.

They're supposed to be the best specialist in Hobart from what i've heard.
There might be other specialists, and there are of course the Autobarn / AutoOne / etc. type retail places that quite often have a part time installer.
The specialist places usually provide better service all round.

Please post up any information you can about the places you visit and your experiences with them (in a seperate thread), it will make for some good reference information.

Heh heh heh, there's nothing in my car at the moment mate (all pulled out), but I might have it all in by then.
Still madly trying to scrape together the cash for the Z1, and still yet to get the box together for the sub.

Another problem is that I can't use a carputer for comps, which I should have realised but overlooked, so the biggest current issue is finding a suitable headunit (with certain important features, but cheap as possible, I have a WTB thread).
After I get that, the build will begin.

Hey Im Mallan, I live in Launceston..
Atm i drive a townace van, got it for free off dad, (its his old work van). The system in it is quite depressing as i bought it before i even had my L's and had no idea what i was doing. In July im planning on buying either a m97-my99 wrx or an audi a4 quattro. I havnt really started my system in my second car yet as i dont have it... But i have a set of Hertz HSK165 spilts for it that i picked up on special from Marty at FHRX.

haha.. Trust me it hasnt been easy saving! Im only 17, still at school and am only working part time and on holidays. Mum and dad going halves with me makes it a hell of a lot easier

I'd like to give it a bit of a shake up, but no car + (practically) no audio gear = no.... anything.

Hunting down the bits to rebuild the SR20DE has proven to be difficult, but it will be finished in the next couple of days.
Z1a + C6.5's = Meh, who knows.
