Organising Events / Attending Events / Forum Guidelines

If you would like to organise a CAA Event in your state yourself, you may do so.

If you would like to post your event in this forum, please follow the below guidelines to make it simple for everyone to find the information.

You should include the following:

*post the thread in the most appropriate State Forum
*topic title should be sufficient to indicate type of Event/Activity/Meet and date

*in the content, include details of:
-organiser (if different to author)
-event
-date and time

-cost
-place and directions if relevant
-special requirements (eg: things to bring)

This forum is primarily for advertising upcoming CAA Meets and Events across the nation, non-CAA events of interest (provided they are car audio related) and Reflections of Events gone by.

The Organiser must keep Members updated with the latest developments and confirm details nearer the Event.

Should Events be cancelled or postponed please inform people via the thread as soon as possible.

When advertising for an Event or Activity organised by persons other than yourself, provide contact details or a weblink for Members to seek further information.

CAA encourages the notice of legitimate Car Audio Competitions and Events (eg: dB Drag competitions) to entice CAA Members to become involved in nationwide competition. Members must be mindful to behave appropriately when representing the CAA Club and Organisation.

Moderators reserve the rights to remove advertisements from this forum.

Rules & Guidelines for Behaviour at Events

All members agree to these rules by attending a CAA meeting or event.

1. Any driving or manouevering of a vehicle considered dangerous to fellow members or the public WILL NOT BE TOLERATED; you will be asked to leave the event immediately.

2. You are representing CAA when in attendance of a event, and expected to behave in an appropriate and sensible manner.

3. Please take any rubbish with you or at least put it in a bin; this is common courtesy; too often when CAA leaves an event location, rubbish is left behind.

4. These rules are in place to protect the name and reputation of CAA, as well as the safety of CAA members and the public.

5. Please "boom" or play your music responsibly and respect others around you that may not share our passion for car audio.

You attend these meetings of your own accord. CAA will not be responsible for any injuries or damage caused or sustained at a CAA event or meeting.

If you believe any other rules need to be added to these, please contact your State Representative.

CAA indemnifies itself from all liability in relation to any Events or Activities, organised or not by CAA and or it's Members, including holding no responsibility for damages caused to or by vehicles and persons, fines and penalties or personal injury when attending Events or Activities. CAA does not condone reckless driving behaviour or other reckless activity and reserves the rights to remove Membership from persons involved.
