Well built, well priced. The LRx2.9 is EXTREMELY powerful for its quality genre, and is abound with heaps of technology. At the moment, I use 2 of the previous series (1.400 and 2.500), and both are incredible amps. Look good too.

Good quality, great price, good build, great power output and built for SQ. What more do you need?

Plus the 1-channel is identical, so you can get a really good setup display in your boot!! :good:

****Edit****
Oops. You meant 6.9, not the 2.9. For an entire system in one amp, these are really schmick

i downloaded the information, a pdf, when it first came up on here i believe. Or maybe it is at FHRX.

Anyway the stats on the lrx6.9k are:

@ 4 ohm = 4 X 70 + 2 X 75
@ 2 ohm = 4 X 120 + 2 X 140
@ 2 and 1 Ohm = 4 X 120 (2ohm) + 2 X 230 (1ohm)

I have the new lrx 5.1k sitting at home.

160 X 2, 50 X 2 and 700 X 1 all at 4 ohm.

Haven't powered it up yet cause i am waiting on a cable delivery. Can't wait to get it cranking.

the new LRx are great sounding amps, with plenty of power. reasonably flexible crossover settings too.

Thanks it seems like these are the amps for me.
I am looking at the moment just for the front stage amp and the 6.9 looks the goods.
After seeing a catalogue I have decided to hold off on the sub amp till the new LRx1.2k is released my local dealer reccons the distibutor says around Christmas time but the specs are brilliant offering around 2k of digi power and the price I am told will be under 2k - cant go wrong at a buck a watt. best of all I keep a balanced look on the install.

I agree. Despite a couple of bad Audison comments around these parts (some people seem to dispise them) I personally have had great Audison experiences.

Had one Audison SRx amp that took a hell of alot more punishment then it had any right to for months, but the little bastard absolutely refused to lay down and die.

I used it for speakers and sub (at different times) and was very impressed with how it sounded for the money.

Looks and build quality were solid (else the plastic end caps) and the only thing that annoyerd me were that that you needed 3 different sized screwdrivers to install it.

No doubt the LRx could only be better !

I have noticed a couple of audison "knockers" on the site.
Cant understand why tho they always seem a little vague on their beef.

A number of people have apparently had reliability issues with the old LRx (and possibly VRx) range of amps. Can't comment on this as I haven't used either range.

However, it seems from reports and my experience that the SRx line have been solid.

I think that it is the old LRx range Muzz. VRx I think from all reports are solid. Been using a 1.500 and is has been rock solid for me.

Sadly, as with most things in life, it is often the way it's installed / used that is the problem. Not the product itself...

^ as above

Although the old LRx amps did have a bad reputation

The RCAs must be connected before the power other wise they tend to crap em selves

i had a bad experiance with my Lrx 1.400.
even was told by someone *wont mention the name* that they had a common fault and audison was not going to fix it!
QUOTE (RMA @ Feb 6 2010, 01:22 AM) My only regrets are:
Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.
