Anyone used Rainbow reference with Sinfoni amps

Was thinking of splashing out in a couple of months and getting some Rainbow reference splits and was looking for a nice sq amp to power them. I've been thinking of Sinfoni. Has anyone ever heard this combo or know if they match well together?
Thanks

both the items you require are very costly...
i reckon you they would even sound good off a jaycar amp...
the sinfoni should be beautifull...

Don't know if many people have heard the rainbow at all, let alone with sinfoni amp's. I know Marty at FHRX studios has used them (I think with Zapco amp's at the time but could be wrong) and I believe that mobile fidelity import them. If you contact them they maybe able to arrange a demo if you ask nicely or refer you to someone that has them.

Last year I used to use Rainbow Reference components in my car. Nowadays I use Focal Utopia Beryllium's from my front stage and a Diamond D910 for my subwoofer. My amplifiers are three Zapco C2K-6.0X.
If your looking for Sinfoni amplifiers then contact Paul Graham at Precision Installations on (02) 9547 2233.
Now some brands I would recommend adding to your audition list (do still include Sinfoni too) include:
Audio System
Audison
Diamond Audio
Boston
Crossfire
Infinity
Phoenix Gold
Treo
ARC Audio
Zapco
Tru-Tech
Milbert
Digital Designs
Vibe
Earthquake
Phass
Celestra

Entering an SQ comp is about spending countless hours working to pay for a great sub, only to be told you need to spend countless hours tuning so you can sound like you don't have a sub at all.

I can however comment on styling and build quality, both of which are absolutely flawless. They look great in pictures, but in person they are without a doubt the most elegant and exotic looking amps i've ever seen. One look at them in the flesh tempted me to trade in my ARC's
I'd second the opinion of speaking to Precision installations. To my knowledge, they are the only Authorised dealer for both Rainbow and Sinfoni in NSW and would thus be the best people to seek information from.
Not sure if they'd be able to offer an audition of reference splits, but if anyone in NSW can arrange it it'd probably be them.
I can comment on the Rainbow speakers I have heard (Profi, Profi Vanadium, Power, Platinum). They sound outstanding, and fit and finish are absolutely first rate - definately as good as anything I have seen.
The closest I have gotten to Reference line is I have seen / heard the Platinum line (tweeter only) and they are very, very good.
I'd image the Reference could only be better but sadly I've never heard them (would absolutely love to).

Really? You might want to have a closer look at various other amps Pete.

I'm not denying that there are alot of other great looking amps around, however, to my eyes the Sinfoni amps are the most visually attractive amps i've seen in person.
I think they provide just enough flash, without overkilling on the 'bling'.
Other amps I think look extremely sexy are Brax, Helix, Tru-tech's Copper amps, and some of Soundstream's high end models, however these all cost a small fortune
Then there's ARC's new FD range, but I didn't include them in the list as they are sadly no longer being disributed here in Oz.

Last time I had a listen to your car was wayyyyy back - I think before the Be's were even released here.
You still had either the IDMAX or XXX in there with the Supremos at the time, from memory.
My brother may have heard them at CAASQ round 2 though, if they were in the car at the time. He did comment that it was the most impressive car he heard on the day

We currently have one of each Rainbow amp packs which include the
preamps (2 and 4 channel only), we will have these as a special order
and get them in as customers require them.
Rainbow Kraftwerk 4150 including 1/2 din preamp $1065 rrp
Sinfoni on the other hand we do carry, we are waiting on an order to
arrive soon.
45.2x $990 rrp
90.2x $1250 rrp
50.4x $1850 rrp
120.4x $2550 rrp
not cheap but not as high as every ones comments of better be loaded!
what about Helix?
I think they look better than the Sinfoni, I like the high tech look.
www.audiotec-fischer.com
H500 about $900, B4 same, A6 ~$1200, I have read that these new amps are better than the Brax models requiring Brax to re think the 'top' model line up.

The Graphic Editions are a step up from the normal Brax, giving a 'Top Shelf' model to the line-up. Highly select components, logically superior layouts (they are just so....well....fluid) and meatier power supplies. Beautiful amplifiers that really look the goods too. Personally, Id put them in the same class as McIntosh (but obviously heaps smaller), LST Audio and Tru Tech.
Sinfoni is a nice amp, and in real life they look the goods too, but they dont really have a big impact on the Australian market. Not sure why, but we are quite a select bunch and not many here have used them. How much more select does a marketed audience want to become?

Also, chances are what I am talking about is absolute rubbish and that the reader shall derive his own conclusions from the above comments!
