very neat job.

few $$ worth of time and bits in it.

the custom dash thing is a bit extreme for Aus at the moment.

I don't particularly like it actually.

I think it doesn't flow, it looks too boxy and angular, I don't know it just doesn't look "right"

x2.

Not my favourite. The headunit right in front of the driver screams "distraction" to me. And having to reach around the steering wheel just to turn the music up or down, or change songs? Not user friendly for sure.

And yes, I did notice the face was seperated from the unit.

Thats why the head unit controls are integrated into the steering wheel Matt.

Its extreme. The speedo in the middle with the head unit in front is an awesome touch I think.

Custom dash with speedo in the middle.... He stole my idea :P

The install doesn't really do anything for me but the fit and finish and everything is great.

Dont heaps of Jap cars now come with the centre cluster in the middle??

I know the Echo did, as does the Yaris. Why is this one special??

As does the Nissan X-trail and the MiniCooper (not jap but it's got a central speedo!), I guess this is special because it's custom?

Not a real fan but props to him for the time, effort and $$$.

wow! the amount of attention to detail is astounding. it takes amazing talent to do that: design (do YOU have that kinda imagination?), execution (do YOU have the skills to build something like that?), and time. it's full CUSTOM work there; hardly anything off-the-shelf. if it was that easy, we'd all be doing something like that, right? :D

thanks for posting. whislt it may not be to everyones' tastes, it sets the mind boggling. inspirational.

If you knew how good my imagination was you would have me do a drug test... :P

I know that I don't personally have the skills to build something like that, but I work with guys that do ;)

Having the "hump" in the middle helps hugely with this.
Normal cars with the hump on one side, can be biased to a side due to reflections off the hump...
In the middle, it is equal for both sides.

That is the main reason it is done.
