hey, i'm looking for a good sq amp to run probably some rainbow mr100 4" mids but i need it to be quite a small footprint amp to mount under the seat. pdx amps would be an option but i want to know what other people recommend. just looked at my car and 4" might be a bit hard to find a space for, so maybe 3" but what 3" are available? unless i went some dyn 340s?

tell us what size you have got for the amplifier (of course there has to be some room for air circulation aswel) so ppl should take that into account, you would not believe how many ppl install their amplifiers under carpet or in places that give absolutly no airmovement around them. and wel all knows what happends then...

The arc is a very nice amp, however they aren't very small. Not that they are huge, but there are other amp that are considerably smaller.

In addition to this, they are no longer 'officially' being distributed into Australia.

If you like the ARC's, then consider a Vibe Blackbox II. It has comparable output (2x100 / 1x300), the same features (crossover adjustabilities etc), is very well built, sounds great, and is alot more compact. Have used both the ARC and Vibe and both are very nice sounding amps, with the vibe having a softer style of sounding.

For that money, i'd be tossing up between the Vibe Blackbox, Audison LRx and Focal FP amps.
