i reckon my total of my system im going to be usuing in the commo comes to about 1500 bucks (all purchased secnod hand tho) can i enter

Why wouldn't it be fair? All I can think of is that we have an advantage because of the whole hatch vs sedan thing.

hmm, $1500 shouldn't be too hard.
jaycar splits rrp $150
Jaycar amp 4*100 $300
jaycar amp 1*820 $399
2 * dd1008 or 1010 $500
Box $80
$71 wirring
now with the jaycar gear if you bargain you could probably get it all for the quantity 5 price. so $120 $239 $319 for all the jaycar items respectively
then take your wiring budget up to $100 so your car feed the amps the appropriate power and then you have $150 left for a HU.
Your install will be judged on SPL, SQ, installation, complexity and budget (ie scoreing bargains) haha.
