I coughed and farted at the same time.

Actually, I can't afford to do this anymore. I paid for an amp from some dude off boostcruising.com and he didn't come through with his side of the deal.
So I'm way out of pocket and I'm considering just selling all the stuff I have at the moment to pay off debt.

jesus due that sucks ass :(

hope you reported him to site management.

why you have to get as many details as possible off the person. just in case they try gip you.

last person i traded with i had take a photo of their licence with a digital camera and made sure the name matched up on the account when i was depositing money. the people in the bank wont give you the name details but if you say something like it the name on the account is such and such please deny this transaction as I'm not sure on the account details... :D

it wasn't a local user was it? i reckon i can give you addresses for most users on the NT section...

I know :(

I reported him, but they don't really give a damn. Not much they can do anyway.

I stuffed up, and only have his bank details. I've emailed the bank with his bank details, asking if anything can be done, but they'll probably do nothing or can't do anything.

Anyway, I'm off to slut my wrists :P

Wow cam talk about coinsidence! I am too broke to participate in this little battle at the moment aswell. Basically same thing, ripped off on boostcruising buying a dvd headunit!!! ffs I should have known it was to good to be true. Also I did mine the "safe" way, COD, but I still got jibbed and the post office won't do crap all about it. Reported it to police and provided the post office with a promise number in the hope that they wouldn't transfer the funds to the nob who ripped me off but nothing :(

Most valuable lesson i've learnt!

I really do hate that sorta sh!t. Whenever i buy anything fromthe intraweb i almost always do cod and search for their previous sales and then pm the people that they have sold to and see what they say. Its kept me out of trouble so far.

How did you go wrong doing sod? you couldn't have lost too much? postage at the most yeh?

That sucks Jamie :( Let's get together on the week and hug it out.
BTW, it wasn't that US Audio one? How did they get you though? End up being faulty?

I did mine via DD. I called Westpac today to see what they can do, and the lady was very helpful, but she said it may take a while to come to a conclusion.

Next time I shall be very careful and do what Lukey posted earlier.
