hey guys do you think that the human reign amps are worth the money they cost (SQ wise)

they look really cool and from what i have found on the net it seems that they are tops for sound quality just wondering if they are worth the massive price tag.

if you don't think they are worth the money, mention why not and if you got any other amps that are just as good for sound quality, post them up with a price any help would be really appriciated.

i know alot of the cost go's into the making of the face.

internals are quite sexy. i wouldnt knock one back.

yeah, the face is certainly something different and i'm sure it's got plenty to back up its looks with. But i'd have to agree that a decent amount of what you pay would go into the face. While we're on the topic of expensive amps, does anybody know how much an Audison Thesis costs over here in Aus?

Yeah, after you throw down a 50% deposit.

Last I heard, the SS Human Reign goes for around 8k for the 2-ch. And they are MASSIVE!! Honestly the biggest amps I have ever seen.

yeah, a phenominal amount of money. The power specs aren't too weak either. Does anybody actually know somebody who owns one of these beasts and has had the privilege of a listen?

dont know anyone that owns one, but rock, lock & roll in ballarat have one on display

i mean not only do they have awesome power, and most likely awesome sq, they are the most original looking amps in the history of car audio...they would look pretty dsmn neat in the right install....speaking of which, i couldnt find any pics of installs using thes...anybody have any??

There was a Mercedes done in Geelong, featured in "In-Car Entertainment" magazine from Mar/April 05 -- don't know if thats helpful or not, but the install did feature 2 x H/Reigns (one 4-ch, one 2-ch) plus a D'Artagnon (talking about expensive!)

Actually don't have it anymore, have replaced on display with a XXX-6500D (reviewed InCar this month anyone interested?) at $4499

[edit: ebay seller] have them for quite cheap (compared to retail). However, as they are US Imports, don't expect Soundstream Australia to support you (I have bought lots of SS Tarantula amps off bitaudio and they have worked perfectly, so no dramas imo)

Human Reign 2 = $3200
Human Reign 4 = $3100

this is compared to like an 8K RRP, so def worth it
