Im looking to get a sub for my car. It is not for show or I need it to be thumping hard. Im only after something basic but better than my current stock setup. These are the two subs im looking at. Clarion DP12XB or the Pioneer 306CBOX. It might be a bit hard to say if I dont specify my amp, but just want to know since the Clarion has 2 x 600W compared to 1 x 1000W; and Clarion is a single voice coil compared to a dual voice coil. Which wil give a better performance? If anyone could suggest a Clarion or Pioneer amp to match with these specs.
