Need some advice on which system is best.
Option 1:
Clarion APX4240 (4 channel)
Clarion APX 1300 (mono to drive subwoofer)
Clarion DP12XB (enclosed subwoofer)
Option 2:
Pioneer GM-6200F (4 channel)
Pioneer GM-7200M (mono to drive subwoofer)
Pioneer 306CBOX (enclosed subwoofer)
Or it can be mixed and match as I can get these items for a discounted price. Im only after a basic system as you can probably see with these models. Any help and advice is appreciated greatly.

I have only heard Clarion in an autobarn store. Pioneer I havent. Thiswill be my first system in my car so I dont know what sounds good and what is not. Im asking if anyone has these systems or any combination or even 1 of the items. My plan is to get either one of those configurations but maybe change the Pioneer 7200 to a 5200T. A few of my mates reckons the Clarion setup is better but use the Pioneer sub. But they are only going on specs. Im looking for experiences.

if you are only going for a basic system then go for which ever one looks pretty
(ive used the gm7100m before and i thought it was powerful enough for a basic setup, was driving a single mtx 4500 in it and was running that quite nicely)
but in the end, they are both basic mosfet monoblocks, the clarion is rated a little higher than the pioneer, but dont underestimate box values, that pioneer can kick
but really, it should be looking at what sub you are driving, the 5200f is more powerful than the 7200m so that would drive the 306c alot more (as it is a 400w rated subwoofer)
but then the sub will only sound as good as the enclosure... have a listen to the clarion amped up properly, and the pioneer.... i like the pioneer in a custom built ported box... not a big fan of the pioneer in sealed boxes... and theres not many manufacturers that do make properly made prefab boxes (there are exceptions... ***cough cough sig sig***)
