And for any sound processor, they should have RCA input jacks. The H701 does. In which case, its just a matter of going out of your headunit RCA's and into the processor.
Take note though, you are running through two sets of DAC's and ADC's, so potential for quality loss is high.
Nakamichi offer a Pre-amp unit, with Xover modules inside, but its quite Exxy last I heard.

Pretty spiffy technology though for a 90's product (is quite old now - still demands a price though). From what I can remember, it uses a vacuum suspension unit to mount the PCB, totally eliminating any contact with external case by the internals. Still one of the quitest units on the market (seperation and S/N wise), if you dont include the fan churning around on the inside of the unit!!

Onlt letdown is the radio supposedly but I never listen to radio anyway!
