Golf_bht ran this a while ago IIRC (the H701). Won Malay IASCA in his class with it too. Maybe PM him for opinions..??

And for any sound processor, they should have RCA input jacks. The H701 does. In which case, its just a matter of going out of your headunit RCA's and into the processor.

Take note though, you are running through two sets of DAC's and ADC's, so potential for quality loss is high.

Nakamichi offer a Pre-amp unit, with Xover modules inside, but its quite Exxy last I heard.

I think its called the TD1200 (which is a tuner/pre-amp) is one such unit, though that comes with a deck as well I think. May be able to get it seperated.

Pretty spiffy technology though for a 90's product (is quite old now - still demands a price though). From what I can remember, it uses a vacuum suspension unit to mount the PCB, totally eliminating any contact with external case by the internals. Still one of the quitest units on the market (seperation and S/N wise), if you dont include the fan churning around on the inside of the unit!!

@nthony has one, he's a member on here. Maybe PM him for details.

It's TP1200 and the info can be found here. Very expensive unit and rare, my installer has one and refuse to sell it to me .
There's a cheaper alternative, TA-25, info can be found here.

Well I haven't heard it yet! I bought it just going off a heap of reviews I found on the net! It has a processor of some sort attached to it but hopefully when I upgrade my amp it should be a decent SQ system!
Onlt letdown is the radio supposedly but I never listen to radio anyway!

Here is one of the reviews I found:
