Its got lots of midbass attack. Pretty open sounding midrange. The only weak point is the tweeter. Its kinda harsh. With a bit of eq, and possible going active, its a great speaker over all. It was based on their pro audio gear- which jbl is known for.
Put at least 150 watts per channel, and they'll really sing.
