Both work on the same principle though, by a constant oversupply and storage of charge for instant depletion when required. Caps cannot do this on their own.

How are they storing the constant oversuppy ?
In C A P A C I T O R S perhaps or lot of little batteries.?

Not all things in the car audio industry are created equal...
Especially equipment and installers.

A bad installer won't blame his tools or his skill, he'll blame the equipment!

Im aware of that Phil. Never said they didnt. But those Cap's are 'managed', and the Power input is controlled to draw a higher supply then the varying demand in order to store the extra power. The output is also regulated to give constant voltage.

Caps just store the energy, they cannot regulate power input/output without external help.

Sorry for the crappy pic.
It's just a busbar consisting of a cheap, solid brass battery terminal from Supercheap (like $5 for the pair) and a chunk of copper with holes drilled in it to connect the cables.

Does the trick and does it well.

Fhrx Studios has some pretty cool earthing kits, and there are plenty of other off the shelf products.

You should have a look at the Pivot Raizin voltage stabilizer with, GASP, a bank of small caps built in! :o BLING-A-LING!

Can i just add a couple more 4Ga grounding cables to the terminal - from -ve to chassis, -ve to block??

Via a ring type connector(if there is one big enough to fit)? Or would the reduction in surface contact area significantly affect the quality of the contact??

Any other areas i should be looking at upgrading besides -ve to chassis & -ve to block?
