yeh mate i decided to go for it. Will be using my gf 2003 astra hatch. Its not a very loud car at all but at least its a hatch i guess. How about you man?

i really wanna considering how often they happen up here but i only got my
sedan to use my new amp wont be here till after the comp & i got no place
really to make another box at the mo or the time really
i wanna try get a crxbut no one seems to wanna sell em up here

how would that go
tryin to talk sisters bf into entering
if not ill use mine just need to do heaps testing
we should see if freddy will let us use his term lab for a day
or how would a meter from jaycar go $100 up to 130db
just turn the stereo up haif way

i'm not to sure how a pulsar would go, i know my sedan is pretty hopeless lol. I think the n12 and n13 where good but after that their nothing flash. Yeh i asked freddy the other day and he said i could do a bit of testing but know i just need to find a bloody laptop to use :(

its best to do testing a full power, if anything the minimum i would go for is the meter in the caa store its ~$270 and goes up to 150dB not completely accurate to termlab but its accurate agasint itself which is what counts.

If you do'nt want to worry about the entry fee and want to give me a hand your more than welcome :)

well from speaking with freddy i do'nt rekon he would mind to much if we used his joint, you can easy fit two cars in there.

big congrats to awmolq for breaking the 140's with only a pair of tens and in largish sedan and not even a high tuned spl box!! :good:

I bought two sheets of 18mm this arvo so will porbably get box building over the weekend. new bat should be here by mon and testing will begin on tues.

Oh and lindsay are you coming to pick up that headunit? Just want to make sure you are happy with it incase you aren't and have to rush last minute for a replacement :) Btw I leave town on monday night but I can always leave it with the olds for pickup :)
