ok, im looking at a pair of polk sr's
so, what exactly will the difference between the sr5250's and the sr6500's be? other then physical size of course. im guessing midbass might be a bit more lacking?
even though they cost the same... the reason i ask is that i'd have to wait an extra 3 weeks for the sr6500's and install would be more expensive.
thoughts?

The bigger speakers will be able to play lower and have more mid bass......also less likely to distort at higher volumes.

the 6500s will have more midbass, i would go for these, they are very easy to install, as they are quite shallow

5.25" can have a slightly nicer mid but do lack a little in the lower area, 6.5" are more versatile and will play lower, 6.5" are usually more effeceient too.

yeah, i was thinking i should wait for the sr6500's, its just so hard to be patient.
i'd love to shrek, but i'm over in wa and nobody really does polk at all. sort of tossing up between these and the dyns. if you have heard a set of 242gts or even the 240gts id love to hear your thoughts on the difference of the dyns vs the polks

dyns vs polks,
i think the dyns are a little more laid back, whereas the polks, in no way bright, are more livlier, both are great,
but, i would personally go polk, these speakers just rock...
that, or the new oz 3 ways
