The Audison LRx 4.1k's rear channels are stable to 1ohm, hence fine running a 2ohm bridged load. Put out a bit of power too.
Sorry for sounding like a marketting gimmick but i've used them and find them to be a great amp.

Your no marketing gimmick... For one I dont believe that you work in the car audio industry (thus not be bias) and you are stating from your experoence and not from what you've only read.

The only issue with the audison it looks to be quiet a BIG amp...

On a side note: Should I run my carputer which i've had for a little while now (not installed in the car) or buy a Alpine DVD headunit to run as my source???

So many decisions... why cant everything just be simple...

They are quite long and narrow...
Definately not the smallest amp, but if size is your biggest concern then the PDX wins hands down. Nothing comes close to it in terms of size/performance... Only problem is running your sub at 8ohm (although will be same power output on the pdx - 300wrms) where as the audison has the ability to be loaded lower, and put out 700wrms into 2ohm bridged.

In terms of CarPC, would you use it for more then just music? (IE: Gps, movies, etc...) and do you have all your music stored on it?
I would personally run both, a headunit for cd's and a carpc as a "music bank".

If you're trying to save weight however, leave it out?

Is the 350 bridged at 2 or 4ohm?

What the rrp on the eclipse?
4 ohm. $799 RRP.

Ive got one if you wanna hear/see it. You have my number.

My opinion:
Alpine for size/power versatility (like Danny said, 300w bridged even @ 8 ohm).
Audison for proper power.
Eclipse for sound.

Take your pick. :)

The audison I am slowling like more and more... I still believe I have a lot of research to be done before I make a decision.

In terms of my carPC it was going to be used for Music, DVD, GPS, Internet, Phone and for the fact that alot of people have not got one :)

There has been issues with running a carputer and alpine headunit to the same processor, so I would mainly like to have one or the other.

I guess at the end of the day my car is only for street use ( drag strip once every now and then) so that little bit of extra weight wont make that much of a difference.

Im still leaning towards one amp to simpilfy my install (In other words me being to lazy to install everything that I already have) or it just could be that I want some new gear.
