In addition to the sound off itself, we're also planning to make this an official audition day. This offers many of you the chance to audition many of the speakers we constantly talk about. Many people have commented that they cannot find cars with brand X,Y or Z in them so if you're in the market for some new speakers, this is the place to be. You can listen to your own music comfortable in the knowledge they speakers have all been installed correctly. We'll also be bringing cars equipped withDLS Nobelium, Morel Supremo / Piccolo components plus a few more little suprises.
Registration for the competition starts at 08:00 and judging begins at 10:00 sharp (AM/ST may start a little earlier. Entry fee is $35 for all classes. The planned order of events for the SQ side of the day are:
* Trophy presentation from round 4.
* Amateur Street Class
* Amateur Show Class
* Pro Street Class
* Pro Show Class
* Award presentations
As per usual, during the middle of the day there will be a BBQ with both food and drinks available but with a difference. The way we operate the BBQ is this; Fhrx Studios pays for the food and drink but we ask for a gold coin donation (or more) that we then forward to different charities. In the past we have supported everyone from the Guide Dog Association, the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children to Anglicare.
The important details are:
* When: Saturday 28th July, 2007
* Where: Burrawang Reach, opposite the intersection Henry Lawson Drive and River road, Revesby. The map below is marked with a small circle.
* Time: We get there around 07:00 to get undercover tables and a couple of BBQ’s etc. Anytime after that though is fine – finish is usually around 17:00-18:00. We do stay back to chat and mingle though.
* Cost: Entry to the sound off is usually $35. However there is also a $7 parking fee (national park) for the day. Food is free but seeing as we're buying the food and drinks and are not millionaires, feel free to donate soft drink cans.
* Security: Thieves and dishonest people are not welcome and for the ones amongst us thinking of coming down to steal something – we’ve been through it before and trust me; security is one aspect NOT overlooked (that is about all we ever say in writing).

Everyone is welcome! The thing to remember is the day is always a lot of fun so please come along, spend time with fellow audio enthusiasts and support our industry. It doesn't matter whether you have never attended, come along and meet everyone - most are quite friendly and don't bite. Judges are also more than happy to help you tune the car before the competition starts.
Sound quality competition judging discs are available for purchase from Audio Discs.com.au and the rules and leaderboard for the 2007 NSW CAASQ Sound Quality Competition can be found here.
We will have an RTA there on the day.
