Can anyone recommend me a SQ Demo cd? Someone posted a link on here to a site that sell them but I lost it.
A good dB cd recomendation would be great too.

Thanks....!

Hi Rattlesnake, www.audiodiscs.com.au has a great range of SQ Reference CD's. There's not a single disc on the site you wouldn't be happy with, but the popular ones are Chesky 10 Best, and in particular Sheffield Labs Drive, Sheffield Labs My Disc.

Thanks, that was the site I was looking for!

I've picked out :

Dr.Chesky's 5.1 Surround Show Setup Disc

Sheffield Labs - My Disc (Gold)

and

Chesky Records - Special Edition - 10 Best

If you were to pick one (or 2) which ones would they be?

well, this seasons CAASQ uses Chesky to Judge with, and last season they used My Disc. I've got both, and they are both invaluable tuning tools...

plus they sound great!!

Herbie Hancock's Possibilities is a pretty good CD. Woody suggested it in the Music section (under good quality CD's or something like that). Has some great artists on there, the music is recorded pretty well, and the music sonuds rather nice as well. It can be bought on Ebay / Amazon, haven't seen it in shops though

Just to add my two cents Eric Bibb does a great SQ cd called Diamond Days. Its a bit bluesy and has a record appeal but the imaging is wicked awesome
