Amp wiring for dummies

05 March 2007 - 12:33 PM

Gday all, just bought myself a Pioneer gm6300f 4 channel amnp an want to wire it into my existing system.
The head unit is also Pioneer, DEH-P6850MP, Pioneer 220w front speakers, Sony Xplode 200w(I think) rears and Pioneer 1000W sub. Presently the deck is running the 4 speakers an I wish to have the amp run the rear speakers and sub. I have all the wiring I require, RCA's etc, but the wiring instructions seem to contradict themselves- how do I wire it without damaging anything?! Where do the RCA's have to go? Do the speakers all have to be wired up from the deck still, or does th amp take over that part of the wiring?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, another newbie.
