thats sounds like a plan if thats the case.

i cant turn the h/u off as such well as far as i know....

thankyou very much for your help

on a side note, would another possibilty be that its not earthed properly?

at the moment just one

i have yet to buy a multimeter.

if for example i have stuffed the h/u remote signal is there another way to have the amps turn on?

fluctuating i would say.

i have not tested it. what what it mean if it was doing that?

oops i didnt word that right.

it is getting power to the amp. its the remote turn on wire that is doing the fading

well i just splurged and bought a heap of stuff to help with my install.

if anyone needs some help i have a shed full of stuff that may help out

and yes i am really hoping that something gets sorted out for next year
