Does this mean that Phil is no longer involved with DD?? Or do Phil and AMG have a working relation of some sort??

We have been appointed as the sole Australian distributor, the previous importer has no relationship with AMG and is no longer involved in distributing DD products into Australia.

Thanks.

Does this mean that the majority of items are available to purchase straight away?? If so, do we deal direct with AMG or will there be distributors/retailors that will supply to the customers?? And, finally, where in Townsville, qld, is stock available??

*edit* I know what the first post said but Im sure im not the only one with these questions so it might help to post answers....

Just interested as i have a friend up here in Townsville that is interested in some subs but wasnt willing to wait forever to get them.

Some stores that are existing DD dealers may have stock available to purchase straight away, we are in the process of organizing our initial order and all the logistical fun that goes with it, there will be a short delay until new stock arrives as there are some new products due very soon that we are waiting for, no point importing old models of a new brand :)

AMG Audio is a distributor/wholesaler so we do not sell directly to the public, however DD is available through all Autobarn stores (Townsville would be your nearest) and some specialist retailers. Please feel free to email us and we will be able to add your items to our order and give you an approximate ETA or alternatively we can contact existing dealers on your behalf to see if they have what you need in stock.

keith,

(I'm assuming its you.)
good to see you are not undercutting the dealers. maybe it will sell now. as for selling direct - really not worth it guys. doing that results in dealers getting the sh1ts and not selling the product.

Sorry Guys but we are a wholesaler/distributor not a retailer

We do not sell DD products direct to the public, be it entry products or high end, that being said of course we and our dealers will support those people/competitors who choose to use DD products and we will do everything we can to assist them.

I think that pretty much sums up the "direct to public" question..

Most distributors sell spare parts direct to public. I think that's what was being asked but hasn't been answered yet. Dealing with retailers for spare parts is usually a pain in the arse.

thats all was basically asking stone. but anyway

just spoke to keith this morning and he has informed me you have to by spare parts such as recones amp parts ect. from retailers.

dont damage anything people if there's no retailer near you.

speaking to doran pro audio today they will still be dealing with DD through AMG for those that live near sydney you will be able to get parts through Tony
