Well it’s about time to upload the regular monthly work images so without further ado, let us begin. As per usual we’ll start with the source units. All neatly tied, soldered and heat shrunk for safety:

And while we’re at the front of the car, let’s not forget the under bonnet cable and fusing. Connections are crimped and then soldered so they cannot vibrate loose over time. Cable ends are soldered to avoid stray strands and all fuse holders sit on custom made brackets and / or Perspex plates to avoid cutting metal:

When installing doors you should always make baffles that screw through the factory holes to avoid damaging the door. You must also seal the baffle to the door. Once this is done, the speakers are then soldered, heat shrunk and themselves are fitted with a gasket before being mounted:
