The latest craze in parking aids, the Bosch ParkPilot is now available on Web Audio Direct.

I personally attended a seminar a couple of weeks ago on this system, and it really is great.

I will be installing a system into my BMW in the coming weeks, and also writing an installation tutorial for the Technical section of this site.

They are quite simple to self install, and anyone that understands basic 12V electronics and also has basic hand tool skills will be able to install it.

The signal the sensors sends out, is that in wave form, or straight line form? I've seen some cars with those parking aid that sends straight line signal, hitting a pole, because the sensors are located on each side, but missed the pole because it was in the middle....

I hear what you are saying, and that was common with the old two sensor systems.

This is a four sensor system, and when you look at the diagram, it is a wave, with all sensors overlapping, there are no "holes" in the protected area.
