Innovation KENWOOD KHD-C710 "Music Keg"

Now we know what to expect from a 21st Century changer! Kenwood’s hard-disk-based music storage system offers even more than its name suggests. It’ll hold hundreds of hours of music in most existing formats: CD Audio, MP3, WMA, OGG and even FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec). ‘Music Keg’ is compatible with all late-model Kenwood head units, and it’s as easy to install and to use as a conventional CD-changer. Plus, the removable disk drive - coupled with user-friendly, powerful Music Manager software - lets car drivers enjoy their entire music collections in the car without a single CD ever needing to leave home.

Head Unit JVC KD-SH9101

The JVC KD-SH9101 offers everything required of a modern CD head unit. It’s easy to use, displays impressive graphics and, of course, sounds excellent too. There is MP3 and WMA compatibility, plus DSP facilities and a seven-band EQ. An intriguing extra is the PICT feature, which permits users to customize the screen appearance using images from a PC. These can include downloads from JVC’s website, and originals created using the supplied software. Uploading into the head unit is simply achieved by transferring on a CD-R. Images such as album cover art can even be linked to MP3 files for display during playback!

Amplifier AUDISON SRx3

Audison’s SRx 3 offers many facets of high-quality performance. Unusually, it has three channels: two for the front speakers, and one more powerful channel dedicated to the subwoofer. Add the benefit of a versatile, built-in electronic crossover, and this is one of the most usable amplifiers around. A high level of design and engineering, demonstrating high production values, allows Audison to offer excellent quality control. The SRx 3 is a versatile, powerful and good looking amplifier at very competitive price.

Loudspeaker FOCAL 165 V2

Focal’s Polyglass V2 line extends the reputation of a loudspeaker family already basking in outstanding acclaim. The latest speakers showcase Focal’s ever-developing mastery of materials technology and manufacturing. The 165 V2 system offers extended bass response, but also attends to high frequencies with the newest version of Focal’s famous inverted-dome tweeter. Excellent tonal accuracy and fine musical resolution make the 165 V2 both a class-leading performer and an exceptional value-for-money purchase.

Navigation System VDO DAYTON MS 5500

Say goodbye to the annoyance of outdated and redundant maps, with VDO Dayton's MS 5500 navigation system. Its clever C-IQ technology allows drivers to 'rent' the newest navigation data by dialing a toll free number, or logging onto a website. An access code allows users to try out the latest updates while only paying for information actually used. By comparison with conventional navigation systems, the VDO Dayton MS 5500 is extremely efficient, and its inclusion of TMC (Traffic Message Control) helps avoid traffic jams to save time as well as money!

In-Car Multimedia PIONEER AVH-P7500DVD

Pioneer’s AVH-P7500DVD is a truly amazing in-car multimedia product. This one-DIN unit offers a dazzling array of facilities: DVD Audio, DVD Video, CD and MP3 playback, the fantastic D4Q RDS tuner, a built-in Dolby Digital/DTS/Dolby Pro-Logic II decoder, seven-inch 16:9 screen, and 5x50 Watts of power. You need only to add a centre speaker and powered subwoofer to enjoy the full potential of DVD on the road. But extended system building is also easy thanks to full six-channel line outputs, as well as connections for navigation, rear-view camera and additional video equipment. Controlling this complex unit is a breeze with an excellent touch-screen interface and intuitive remote. It’s the last word in mobile multimedia technology - and installs as easily as it is controlled.
