Hi all
I was wondering what people thought of the Viper range of car audio speakers, specifically the splits and subs.
Any opinions would be great.
Thanks

i dont know about their splits or subs but they are deadly serious when it comes to amps. (2500WRMS class D monoblock:p)
www.directed.com handles viper audio, have a look there.
i dont think there will be many, if any, places in australia where you could demo the stuff since its newish:(
I've been in a car that had viper subs and the viper amps, and all i can say is HOLY S***, they are some good gear, didn't get the chance to play with them much but yea, as for the splits i don't know about them but they don't look too bad at all.

From what i have seen of the specs the gear looks more SPL than SQ oriented. I reserve judgement till i hear it, however

Go to cartronics in the city. they sell viper. i think they have a sub for demo on the board. The amps and subs look the biz. i saw it all while Duane at Cartronics was deciding if they were gonna sell it all. Apparantly the are going to be the only stockists for it in adelaide as they are the only people with viper alarms. The 6 channel amp i think it is looks very nice. If you ask nicely you might be able to demo the amp and subs in Duane's car. he has two 12's and the amp last i saw it.
But one thing cartronics had noise problems with about 5 amps that they had for demo. they would just pick up engine noise from everywhere.
Have fun.
Oh and cartronics is selling earthquake aghain. the have a demo board up with some amps and subs.

Thanks very much for the posts everyone. I'll be checking out Cartronics to see what they have on offer.
