I'm looking for a pair of 10" subs suited to small sealed enclosures (around 22L) and with a high power handling.

They will be run by a cadence A7HC monoblock (1200-1400wrms @ 1 ohm). So ideally the subs will have a power handling around 500-600rms and have either a single 2 ohm VC or dual 4 ohm VC's.

Budget is up to $1000 per sub, and I'm only interested in SQ...

So far I have looked at:
Cadence Wild Beast's
Orion XTR Pro's
DLS Ultimate reference's
RF Punch HX2's

I'm keen to hear anyones' opinions on these or other subs...
shiny_car
how about:

*xtant X1044 DVC 4+4ohm
*kicker S10L7 DVC 4+4ohm
* image dynamics IDQ IDQ10v.2 D4
* JL audio 10W6v2

but to name a few.

mmm, some xtants would be funky.

Can't believe you don't have brahma on your list!!

brahma sub, 10", 1600wrms THERMAL power rating, in a 22L box, it'd be pretty realistic to say that the sub will handle almost all that you can give it! Also, ported box is a better option for sql.....
Eclipse aluminium
JL Audio?
Jetstream
Just in the RF range, you could get prob get a Power HX2.

Thanks guys... anyone know of anyway to get a listen to ID or xtant subs in adelaide??

ubugger: my install calls for a pair of 10's and I don't have space for larger boxes (ported boxes would end up too big.) Also, I've always preferred the sound of sealed boxes to ported ones, personally.
