hi,

just wondering how audiobahn amps are for SQ...compared to the likes of alpine and audison etc..since i've never really heard of them before
i'm considering the likes of F407, LRX 4.300 and audiobahn A4075HCQ to run my f/s and sub
what would u guyts choose and why?
F407/audiobahn are about same price, LRX will cost me $200 more..

thanks!

Well i'd say with not many of them around in australia, very people would have heard them..
i love thier stuff (only have a alum12x sub myself) but if i had the room in my car for some of thier amps.. i would get em.. i'm more an aesthetics person and love the design of thier stuff.. from all the specs i've read on thier amps, they appear 2 b the business.. tho i've also heard people from america "in the know" or possibly just spouting **** , that audiobahn has a bad name in the states for being a "k-mart" shi1tty common style brand (much like sony's rep here regardless of facts in each case).. however the quality of their goods that i've seen and packagaing, website, support, etc says otherwise 2 me
so there u go just providing both sides of the argument for u 2 chew on.. personally i'd say go for it

but them HC amps.. so beautiful.. how can u resist

and specs incase u haddnt looked them up, not 2 foul either..

I bought an a2600e and sold it before I had the chance to use it - the guy I sold it to is using it for sub duties - he didn't realise his subs could sound so good

The way they are put together, the components used, the quality of the fit and finish - I'd be surprised if the sound of them didn't match the quality

that one with the flames looks NUTS. I just bought some PG amps, otherwise I would have bought that one for sale in a heartbeat

I bought the A2600E and sold it to Smeg before I had the chance to use it. The guy who used it before me powered a RF 15 with it and was very happy with it. This however was a 3 generation old Audiobahn.

Pete.
