Was at TAFE today learning about static electricty... Thought this may be an idea for a descussion
What is Electro Static Force?.... The existance of a force where current can not flow is refured to as Static Electricty.
Static Electricity Emits an Electro Magnetic Field.
With this in mind Static electricity is created by a few different ways:-
- Friction Between objects which causes electrons to transfer from on object to another.
-Planes create static electricty when they fly thru the air, this also would be senen in a car but to a lesser extent as speed does affect the amount of static electricty build up.
back to car audio now,
We all know there is static electricty in out cars we sometimes FEEl this when we get out of the car and get "shocked" by touching metal.
CAN/DOES this static electricy interfer with our signal lines thru an Electro Magnetic Field?
If it does it may be apparent in slight and irregular POP or Crackels occasionally happining.
My advice? ground your car
Anyone got anything to add?
