has anyone heard this amp before? and if so, what did you think of it?

im thinking of getting a 300/2 from overseas, to be matched with a 500/1..but since they dont have the 300/2's in australia i'm guessing no one has heard one..only a 300/4

so what did you think of the amp?
and where would u rate it compared to LRx, PGTi as they are my other main options

thanks again!

All those choices are Good Things.

IMO the JL amps are "under-appreciated" and good value in the market-place for something quality and very flexible.

Of those 3 tho', the pick for "class" would be the PG Ti...at a price. At a similar price if you can get it, the PG is the choice.

actually from a different perspective, when i was in the market for an amp, i thought the JL's engineering was awesome, quality unit, but they seemed slightly over-priced in comparison to other offerings, in terms of watts-per-dollar, compared to kicker or cadence or even lanzar etc. come to think of it, all the good amps are over-priced - especially rockford but JL's consistent output into different impedences is pretty funky, dont know how they do it.

The 400/3 has been an exceptional amp for me.
suited my system nicely too.
1 x 1000/1 powering 2 18w3-d4's down the back
2 x 300/4's powering 2 pair of 3 way splits up the front.

$750 a pop is the going price for a 300/4 now i think.
