I am purchasing an SRX4 & and SRx2s very shortly and was wondering if these amps are any good for a basic SQ setup. If you can think of a better amp or two(I have a budget of about $1600 for both), can you please mention them. I am looking for ~1x600 or 2x300wrms for the sub amp(SRx2s) and ~4x60wrms(SRx4).
Thanks in advance

what components do you plan on running with the amps?
IMO, you'd be much better off with a monobloc, which may dictate matching up with only a 2-channel for your given budget. for example:
*audision LRx1.400 + LRx2.150
*alpine V12 MRD-M500 + MRV-T420
*cadence, dls, coustic, etc
the LRx series are very nice and would make a good option to the SRx series.

i see the car audio bug is bitting again!
I'd be looking at shiny's suggestion of using the Lrx amps because of audisons unshakable reputation for build / sound quality and because of the very nice output of that monoblock at 1ohm. they also look the part!
The alpines would be nice however the price of them is going to be only a tiny bit cheaper and many people rate the audison as better quality and they have a bit more "street cred". They still offer reasonable power and good SQ with some of the bigger members in CAA using these beasts so they are definately worth a try, definately. the lift up pannels for the gains etc and the inbuilt voltage meter do look the goods and can allow some nice installs such as mr.m3's beast!
