Ok i need to find a half decent front stage, worth my little money. i have had a few idea and well i cant decide.
Currentley im looking at some new ESK 6" splits, but no one has really tried them out.
Another idea was concedering the current price on jaycar Kevlar mid, i put 2 per door and some tweeters to match
I dont need crossovers as my amp is capable of bandpass on front channels and high pass on rear to 4khz.
so shhot your idead around with a budget of $250-300, 2nd hand is alson an option

Go with the new energy series.
2 reasons: - They're orange!
- They go with your Hertz amp.
Seriously though, they are an awesome set of speakers for the price. Go and audition a pair and let your ears decide. If not hertz, there are certainly quite a few others you may consider. But personally, i wouldn't go the Gaycar Kevlars, plus you'll have to have enough power to run both sets.

Pretty tight budget, what about Total Recoil?
Or look around for ex-demo models, for example we have a set of Focal Utopias going for just $500, I'm sure other stores will have something in your price range.

PM Slain he has had experience with Oz Audio,
i believe they are very good for SQ.
otherwise the HSK 165's. i've got them in the rear of my car if you'd like to hear them sometime. you will have to stretch your budget a tiny bit, i believe you can get them for under $350.
don't put 2 pairs of 6" mids in your mirage...
you've seen the trouble i had to goto to get 3 ways in, you'll have more trouble getting them in. It won't be worth it.

Yer the 2 6.5" mids in the doors would be very hard, but i dont think i can beat the Oz Audio speakers for there price and value

Ive got some esk 165's in my 91 liberty and they are sooo good sq wise. Put out some nice solid base and great but not annoying highs. Couldn't be happier for the price. Running them on a alpine cdm 7874eb and its the nicest music ive listening 2 b4 (haven't heard much car audio though). Need a far bit of wearing in though.

What will the ESK165's be like running of a head unit?
