Hi!
I'm looking for a new 4 channel amp to run my splits (at least 4 x 75wrms). I just bought a Kicker KX600.4 for my subs (not yet purchased). I'm thinking of going with another KX600.4 or KX 300.4 for the splits but not sure yet. Thinking Kicker cos then it'll match my other amp.
What are the Kicker's like for SQ. Any other options under $800 I should look into would be appreciated
Also for subs I'm looking at getting 2 Alpine Type R 12" (budgeting around $700ish). Any other options in that price range would be good. I like the look of the Type R as I'm looking for an attractive sub as well as nice sounding.
Thanx

The Type Rs are a good choice for attractive subs that work well at the price.
Likewise Kicker amps do have decent SQ, so go with it, says I, you will be happy with that combination.
I could ramble about this alternative or that but in the end a quality product installed well is what it's all about and you have that covered.
Just build strong, quality enclosure(s) for the subs. Most important!!!

kicker like most other american brand is good stuff
if u already bought a KX amp for splits, and want matchin amp, i suggest saving up coupla more hundred and go for the KX600.1, a much better subamp
for subs u can go 2 type r for looks, or u can stick to kicker with a single square L7, which goes loud, sounds good, and works nicely in small enclosure, or there are plenty other nice subs to choose from

Why not go for a monoblock to run your subs rather then the 4 channel? Just use teh 4 channel you have now to run your splits and rearfill and a monoblock for the subs.
