Can anyone tell me if the audison vrx range of amplifiers ie. 6.420 has the ability to act as a active crossover as in run a 3 way system of separate components ? What r the extra bits you can buy for these amps ?

Vrx's do have that ability, the best bet would be to email Phil Kent who handle's Audison's in Australia, or look at there site

Yes, that is one of the main benefits of the VRx6.420
In my last car, i was running a VRx6.420 to run a set of Morel components fully active.
All you need is the amp, splits, and 1 RCA input.
The rest is tuning the built in cross-overs, and gains.
