i have a 1979 te cortina and am thinking about getting a loud sq system i was thinking of getting dynaudio 8" 3-way splits for the front doors and 6" 2-way dynaudios on the parcel tray and 2 15" eclipse alloy series subs in a custom box that replaces my rear seat.a eclipse da7232 amp 2 run the 2 subs rated @(2x1000watt in 2ohm form)and a 4 channeleclipse amp 2 run the 8" & 6"s . ive been quoted $1,600 for the 8s".$1,000 for the 6"s .and $1,000ea for the subs .and $3,000 for the d class amp. are these good prices or can i get them cheaper else were?

Awesome list of equipment mate but your gonna be making drastic modifications putting all that gear into a cortina or any other car for that matter. I would maybe approach a shop and ask for some more suggestions, then post up what has been suggested here and we will do our best to help you out....remember though that it's no good spending all this money on gear if the install isn't up to the job...because the mods required to et the best out of it are to drastic...you may be better of simplyfying your plans or using equipment which will fit your car better...

i donno about the other stuff but the dynaudio stuff i think you should shop around for. those are like rrp prices.

Ditch the rear speakers. Thats a grand much better off in your pocket!

Other then that, you have a nice looking list of expensive eqipment there.

Sorry but i cannot help on prices, but i just thought id say again doing blow a grand on rear speakers that are never ever going to be heard how they should be mounted in the back shelf.

Use the $$$ saved to give the front more POWER or just keep it for yourself
