Ok i was doing a decent listen to my stereo today.

I burnt a track which was the noise a silent track would make on a vynal record, and came up with this about my active front stage.

The Drivers side tweeter is more dominant.

The Left Mid Bass is more dominant.

Ok i am running a Pioneer 3350b Head unit which has only one set of RCA outs and the Active crossovers are in my Hertz amp.

Tweeters: Using the HU's fader they are set one unit to the left in order to acheve a balanced sound.

Mids: Using the HU's fader they are set one unit to the Right in order to acheve a balanced sound.

Due to the fact my HU has only one set of RCA out i can only fade the output one direction only.

Now the amunt each drive it donminant will reduce when they are propley imaged in kicks and pods, but they will still need a slight adjustment after this to acheve the correct result.

What devives are the on the market that can fade as needed and are not expencive.

And yes a new HU will come but later down the track, if she's not broke dont fix it!

I didn't get a chance to take much of the look at your Hertz amp on Friday night but does it not feature seperate input sensivitiy controls for each channel? Most amps don't but I though being a Hertz it may be different.

I do have seperate Gain control for each channel
as in front and rear and sub channels.

But what i need is independant

Left right control for the front and rear channels.

Im looking at a few different idead at the moment, using a single input, front/rear fader control unit fron jaycar.

mate, the simplest temporary option i can think off is the RCA fader unit jaycar sell, one pair of RCA's in, and it outputs two RCA pairs with a knob that allows you to fade between them.

inexpensive, can be used in pairs etc, and will let you balance the mids vs tweeters till your hearts content

Before running out and spending money, it might also pay to simply play with the angles of your drivers. Try angling the RHS tweeter further away to make it less dominant, and just keep fine tuning and fine tuning and have some lunch then fine tune some more

im with sbadman here, i think it's all to do with the install. try changing the angl of the tweeets etc and see what u can come up with!
