sorry but this may seem very ignorant but are these decks 1.5din or do they flip out sort of? It may look like i might be buying one just wondering if ill have to do any mods to the fascia?

the face flips out. the face is actually 1.3 in size i think.
i don't think you will need to do any mods.

cheers, so it will fit into 1din space, also pause button, caus i will use this for spl so id rather just get a deck will the functions i need too

ummm yes its got a pause button

the chassis is 1 din however the face is 1.5 din when flipped out i believe. you wont need to mod anything to install the deck however you may run into troubles like i did when the face flips out. i had to put spacers in so it sits further out of the dash.

ahhh because my dash does protuse out at the top from the 1din spot, does it look ok with the actual unti sitting out furter, i think ill have to do some measurements before i buy

well its not even sitting flush with the dash, its still set back a little (even tho i had to make it stick out 1-1.5 cm further out than the standard dash mounting) so yeah it still looks good

when the face is flipped out and vertical it sits about 1.5 cm above the top of the chassis.

i think you can take only rough measurements and you wont really knowif your gonna have any trouble until you acctually have it and its installed.
