gday
wondering if neone out here could help me (ive bn trying to pm hutch but his inbox is full~!)
im looking to upgrade my dynaudio tweeters from the md100 (which is wat you get wif the sys240mkII etc) to the md130 tweet which retails at about $600. i was told that i need to also change the crossover to the x280 as the tweet has a lower crossover freqn
However my audio dealer dude sed that i can just use the crossover supplied wif teh sys240s.
Im wondering if this will affect teh SQ, linearity, response etc. in any way
cheers
Hutch
Sorry about my mailbox being full, I will empty it out soon. You can use the MD-130 with the X-250 supplied with the System 240 but it will sound much better used with the X-280. I have used the X-250 in my car car with the Esotar which also requires the X-280 and it sounded much better with the 280's.

cheers hutch
how much extra am i looking to pay to change the x250 to the x280?
RRP?
Hutch
The X-250 on its own retails for $349 per pair while the X-280 retails for $399 per pair. If you are wanting to upgrade we have a package of MD-130 and X-280 which saves quite a few dollars, have your retailer call me for the details.
