Would this amp power these splits well??
Its only till i can afford the rear splits and coustic 4 channel amp
We are getting the amps cheaper.
Any other good amps to power splits??
The HPC take up to 150 so it would be powering em well!

sure it would, personally id rather save up properly for your 'real' amp but then again i know where you're coming from (i just did the opposite of my own advise, lol)
i heard this splits on a demo board last week off a kicker amp (forget the model, i think it was ~70rms a channel?) and they went quite nicely, seemed to have a LOT of midbass punch to them and i was presently surprised that they seemed to outplay they MB Quarts and JL's i had previously thought highly of (not saying they're crap of course, just didnt have the same impact as these seemed to, off the same amp, same piece of mdf, same everything actually). anyway yeh 150rms is plenty enough for them, its alot of power afterall, just watch your gains and set it up right

I have a set of these in my demo board at work - only running off a vdo deck ( no amp ) it has no problems with level ... if you have a decent hu , you could run them off the deck until you have the $ for you dream amp - and then amp them properly for some serious noise

It will most likely be a JVC 995, or something along those lines, it may even be a LH-1000. I am still not sure, but the thing is, if i can use a jaycar amp or something like it, i won't be doing damage by putting the volume too much, and giving the speakers distortion. We are getting the jaycar amp cheaper. What about even just a jaycar 2x84watt amp??? I just want something better than a headunit powering the splits.
Thanx
