As it says to all the people that doubted me, payed me out or what not i would like to say to you
SUCK MY BALLS!!!!!!!!!
Subwoofers as midrange in my mirage kick a55 the front stage is complete and installed and im so wrapped, and the range of notes these SUBWOOFERS are gettin is unbeliveable and plus my centre imaging is pretty good for a tiny lil hatch i got sound in centre but still the sound stage needs to be raised as it sounds like it is coming from the ac unit in my dash.
So once again SUCK MY BALLS, at least i had the nuts to try it!!!

i had a listen to mistabishi's new setup, and i gotta say, for something that breaks all the rules, it sounds pretty darn good considering the entry ticket price - this with raw signal mind you.
i was skeptical myself, but its come out quite satisfactorily, and with some tuning and sound deadening, should be fun to listen to. the up-front bass, is simply phenomenal sure its no audiophile killer, but it proves you can have good sound with inexpensive and unusual components.
and the imaging was actually pretty good, with a simple turn of the balance control providing a centre image (a bit out of focus though). i find lancers/mirages often make this easy, maybe because of the narrow cabin and far forward speaker location.
it proves audio really is an art, more than a science

Metal boy pics are in your pics and rides section of CAA forums look around they on there they aint up to date but it shows the boot and the door pods before they got glassed but it still gives a damn good i dea of how huge these puppys are.
Well as T-Bro said yes that was with a raw signal as i had the defeat switch on for the EQ, so ive now got just 32 channels of tuning bliss that will keep me occupied for sometime, and mind you thoses 32 bands,.....are just for the mids alone.

Well im new to the "SQ Scene" but im a dunce when it comes to anything other than fat bass lines, ive tried my hand at tuning my 32 band eq as well and its much hard but using the ol skool Dire Straights album it sounds the bomb.
Much happy now
Cheers
Marc
Will keep you all updated on the progression on my new stereo.

Yes, innovation is good. Anyone here have properly ported (Ie a 2" port tuned to somewhere around 60hz) kick panels?

MITSA_BISHI how are you running your front stage ?
8" getting the full signal and the tweets just using their own HP signal ? or have you built custom crossovers ?

We had 8" subs in the doors of my old Corolla and 10" in the doors of the bosses landcruiser, is that close enough?
