Hey everyone how are we all?

I was just after everyones opinions regarding my next sound system (which will be in a suzuki gti)

Medium range Alpine MP3 Head unit

6.5" Cadence Neodymium splits
6.5" Cadence Neodymium 2-way coaxs (rears)
Running of a Cadence Q4000 4 channel (60x4)
(already purchased)

(still to purchase)
10" Alpine type-r sub
New series alpine 350w mono block amp
10" Ported enclosure
Odyssey Battery
Stinger wiring and Cap

Now i know most of you will say let my ears do the judging, but i am wondering does this set up have potential for decent SQ (not for competitions of anything)

I would appreciated some feedback
THanks guys - Mark

personally i'd hold off on the battery, unless you are have some voltage problems. even if you are, i'd upgrade the wire before buying a battery.

save the money and but a better sub. type r's are not bad at all. but IMO there are quite a few better subs for sq on the market for a little bit more.

i'm a ID fan, so i'll suggest an IDQ 12(~$500). there is also an ADS sub in the for sale forum you could look at.

good luck

Sounds like a decent system, but maybe spend more money on good installation rather than a battery? SQ has a lot to do with install, so deadening and speaker placement is critical...

okay i'm just gonna lay down what i think. i'm not having a go... just expressing my opinions.

my personal feelings are against your choice of front stage. i don't like metal tweets and i can't say i like the cadence sound much... but if you like it my opinion means SFA so yeah. if you were going to enter some sq competition, however, the person next to you with dynaudios, bostons, morels and the like will most likely blow you into the weeds. i'd look at some alternatives.

that cadence 4channel gets a fair bit of positivity on caa... i personally think its good value, but you could do better for not very much more... how about an audison srx3?

also, in a suzi gti, i wouldn't run a rear stage. the cabin of these things is tiny and running rear fill will just ruin any hopes for "up front" imaging and staging.

not too many qualmes about the sub. you could do a lot worse. the alpine 10's arent too evil...

installation and set-up will, after equipment choice, ultimately dictate the final sound so spend extra there to have it done properly.
