what do u guys reckon about alpine type r splits running off a mrv-f340 bridge at 2 channels 2x90watts rms do they have much bass or are they more sound quality than anything. And how would they match $400 earthquake splits running of a 2x290rms earthquake amp

Dude, I doubt many people have actually heard and compared both pairs of splits (not to mention they will most likely have different preferences as well) - you really need to go and listen to them yourself and decide which ones YOU like the sound of..
