Hertz HV-200L's if they aint gonna be boxed. or the Hertz HV-200's if they will be boxed.
These are 8inch midbass drivers and not subs though.
The Hertz HS-200's subs fit in tiny sealed box's too, and would go a fair bit deeper and louder.
I have the HV-200'sin 7 litre sealed enclosures in each door. Not the strongest pods but the bass still craps over 6.5inch drivers. 150wrms and 96 db sensitivity is LOUD!
The 200'sactually play high enough to be used in a 2way setup, thats how i run mine.

Orion used to do an awesome set of 8s I think the model was MB100. They had inverted magnet structure so were shallower to mount than a lot of 6s. Don't know if they still sell them but I think you would be much better off with a set of midbass drivers than subs when it comes to rattles and resonances. All you need is some strong midbass up front and all your sub bass sounds like it's coming from the doors anyway. I run Canton 8" midbass and love them, much tighter than my old MB Quart reference 8s but the Quarts played lower (ie. more rattles). Trying to fit them in my new car as we speak, any 8" drivers are a pest to install but subs would really test my patience!

They are also have very small magnets so that they can fit easily into doors.
